WOTTON HOUSE
Nikki and Iain's wedding took place at Wotton House in December, just a few days before Christmas and when Nikki came in to see us to discuss their flowers, they wanted something a little bit different to normal and to create a winter wonderland feel at Wotton House.
The overall scheme for the wedding flowers was classic whites with eucalyptus foliages and some sparkle which we used a glittery gypsophilia. Nikki's bouquet contained ivory avalanche roses, lizianthus, gypsophilia and veronica with silver coloured brunia berries and eucalyptus. We also included a few pale blush 'quicksand' roses. The couple had collected and sprayed lots of different sized pine cones, and these were incorporated throughout the wedding, in the bouquets, buttonholes and scattered on the tables.
For the table centrepieces we used tall glass cylinder vases with crystals and fairy lights inside. On top of the vases we created a large display of silver sparkly branches with lots of gypsophilia inbetween and crystals hanging from the branches. The overall effect was magical, especially combined with the additional draping and decoration in the room.
The vases were placed on clear stands to line the aisle in the ceremony room first and this gave Nikki a magical winter walkway as she made her way through The Old Library.
